Tags are used for grouping and sorting items for your course. For instance you have a group of readings that you would like your students to read for Section 1. By placing a "Section 1" tag in each of those readings your students can filter their view of the readings to display only those readings.
Tags are adding in two levels. the first Instructor Tags are tags that you assign to reserve items for use by students in the course. The second level are Personal Tags these are the same as Instructor tags in how they function but or only visible to you. These tags could be used to note important readings, or items that may be included on a quiz or test.

  1.  On the Class Details page you will see a list of all the items that have been requested for your class. Click on the reserve item you wish to edit
  2.  At the top of the Reserve Item screen the is a display field that shows the current citation for the reserve item being edited.
  3. There are two fields under the citation labelled Instructor Tags and Personal Tags. Tags can be placed in either or both of these fields and then saved by clicking on the corresponding Modify Tags button for that section. You can add as many tags as you wish to a reserves, please remember though to separate each tag with a comma.

Note: You can only modify one set of tags at a time.
