Accomplishments

• Mid term Wiki Report was completed
• Looked further into using aeration to remove the gas in the water at the grit chamber
• Consulted with Monroe about aeration and the next path for this research
• Wrote and posted the minutes

Metrics

• Learned about some of the mechanisms for air entering water
• Read about the influence of mixing rate on the air content of water

Outcomes

• The research now has a definite path laid out. Aeration is the current focus.

Issues

• Modeling the aeration process
• Designing a method to integrate the aeration into the current water treatment system.
