The Cornell Library provides reporting services for FOLIO data through the Library Data Platform reporting databases. The main reporting database is LDP Production. A second reporting database, LDP Test, is used by some units in the library for testing data and processes.

LDP data is Yesterday's Data

Because the data gets refreshed the night before, the data you are working with in the LDP data is always from the activities in the FOLIO system that took place the day before. So, remember that you are always working with "yesterday's data."

Scheduling LDP Data Transfers Off Peak

LDP Test and LDP Production data transfers are scheduled during off peak usage times to ensure that there is no impact on the performance of FOLIO Production application systems.

LDP Production Data Transfer Schedule

The LDP production reporting database is refreshed each night with the data from the previous day's transactions in the FOLIO Production application server. The data refresh process starts at 5pm EST and typically ends between 6am and 7am the following day. Occasionally, the data transfer will be delayed if large batch jobs were run or other large updates were made to the system the day before.

LDP Test Data Transfer Schedule

The LDP Test reporting database is refreshed each night with the data from the previous day's transactions in the FOLIO Production application server. The data refresh process starts at 5pm EST and typically ends between 6am and 7am the following day. Specialized schemas, such as the local_statistics schema for annual statistics processing, are available on the LDP Production reporting database, but not on LDP Test.
