Send an email directly to Cmail, bypassing O365 (and likely also Cornell's main email infrastructure): <NetID@g.cornell.edu>
9/10/17: FIgured this out and tested it- neat!
Since it bypasses O365's infrastructure, it is potentially useful for de-bugging Exchanged-routed email issues for those of us with such accounts (alumni).
