Notes about CIT's charges

Charges are for past hosting, so one pays for time used. For example:

On May 15, 2018, CIT is charging for FY18's services (July 2017-June2018). Per email to Oliver in ChemIT INC000002227553.

Payments within Chemistry

In the first year the Chemistry department paid for all Chemistry sites. CIT started charging July 2017, so paying for existing sites was the right way to start into this change.

On-going, here's a reminder of decisions made to-date (as of 4/17/2018), with specific sites cited in the table below:

Any sites created since then pays their own way, using their own accounts.
Faculty CU Blogs sites using domain names before July 2017 are still paid for by the department (they are so far "grandfathered in"; and Davis's, too)
- Maybe in the future these can be more properly accounted for to each group.
Sites supporting special efforts or grants pay their own way, using their own accounts.
Departmental web sites pay their own way, using their own accounts.
