Scope: Call number hierarchies tell the Voyager system where in a bibliographic record to find call number information. That information will be taken from the fields outlined in the call number hierarchy and be placed in field 852, subfields h and i of the MFHD when a new MFHD is created. Call number hierarchies are set in System Administration.

To define the Library of Congress call number hierarchy, do the following:
