8/19/14: Frank, Dani, and Tu spoke via 15 minute phone call with Oliver regarding his thoughts on the project.

We reviewed clone of FMPro data fields.
Discussed likely write-option for web app: None. All access would be read-only.
New Web app would be analogous to Grades DB where source data maintained in FMPro DB, by Student Services. And viewing would be similar, too (student/ faculty/ staff views and with proper authority).
In Web app, there would be no need for business logic since even the results of addition calculations would all be taken "as is" from source DB.

4/7/14: Oliver shared needs with MichaelL and FrankS. Decisions:

Mid-summer 2014: A&S IT will start a discovery (scoping) conversation with CCB Student Services staff.
- Please invite Oliver to this first meeting. Thank you!
Depending on the actual scope of the project, and A&S IT staff availability, aim to complete project by ~Dec 2014.
Frank to get a clone of the FileMakerPro DB.
- Oliver arranged for Sam to send that to Frank.
