FOLIO Fun  Fact #1 

Did you know that in the Inventory app, it is possible to combine contributor and title information into a single search? You can even use an asterisk as a truncation symbol, like this:


This search finds titles with both “echo” and “echoes” in them, and with contributors named “Perry.”


FOLIO Fun Fact #2

When you Fulfill a Page Request – You just check in the item once you have paged it. There is no need to process the request separately as you do with Voyager callslips.

You can use the clipboard icon in FOLIO to easily copy barcodes (and Inventory record identifiers too):

In FOLIO in the Users App you can search for a patron by their net ID, too!

In many of the FOLIO apps, the left-hand search pane can be collapsed to create more space on your screen for viewing and working with your search results. Just click on the left-facing arrow to collapse the pane:

The collapsed pane can be restored by clicking on the right-facing arrow near the upper-left corner of the screen:


FOLIO Fun Fact #6 

When a Lost Book is returned, the Lost Book Fee is automatically removed when you check in the item.

There is no need to wait for an item related report and there is no need to manually remove the fee.
