If you access VM from windows, you need an SSH client, for example,PuTTY. You also need run Xming to access VM by X11 forwarding
If you access VM from Mac, you need install Xquartz.

How to save one Session on PuTTY:
Open PuTTY Configuration, put VM name in “Host Name”, “Port” is 22, “Connection type” is SSH, “Saved Sessions” to some name you want, click “Save” button.
to access cluster by X11 forwarding
Run Xming, then go to PuTTY, Select one the saved session, click “Load” button, Go to PuTTY Configuration left column “Category” -> “SSH” -> “X11”, check “Enable X11 forwarding”, then click “Open” button
