ChemIT will likely use new-to-the-A&S's college the campus-wide Remedy tracking system. Since April 2012, we've used part of Spiceworks.
Relates to time (effort) tracking and projects, but is not the same thing.
Outcome
We moved to CU Remedy, July 1, 2013.
Desired outcome
Know all work that has come to ChemIT, and determine what work has been closed, and what is left open. For open work, determine if they have been assigned or not and their current status.
Requirements
ChemIT's needs for an incident tracking system:
- Collect in one place all requests to us.
- For each request, characterize:
- Which group is being served, etc.
- Know which tickets are closed, open, unassigned.
- Have a record of activity associated with an incident.
