2CUL TSI conversation notes:
Updates:
1) Kate plans to begin to work on Columbia's organizational charts tomorrow.
2) Remote Desktop - we will investigate a few cases (chiefly in the e-resources area) of 2CUL shared Voyager and document the process. Kate will pursue on Columbia side (Gary) and Adam will investigate with desktop and LTS admins on Cornell side. (We need to have Columbia's IP's to make it work).
Communication:
1) Listservs - we decided to have one 2cul TS Listserv which will include all TS staff across institutions and will help us to communicate about TSI business. Kate will investigate options to add Cornell staff into the existing Columbia 2cul TS list. Jim and Laurie Stevens will be able to add/drop people to the list.
2) Other more specific lists (heads, cataloging, acquisitions, etc.) will be established as we begin to share work on certain projects.
The 2CUL Licensed E-Resources Interfaces working group will be a test case for other 2cul TSI projects, Kate and Jim will work out a charge - TSI group will review the charge and will continue to follow the team's development.
Next meeting:
Broad communication strategy topics will be the main focus for our next meeting.
