The hotel and conference venue are pretty nice. One personal gripe I have is that there is nothing within walking distance of the hotel. I guess I'm going to have to eat in the restaurant here or take a cab somewhere if I want to do anything. It's kind of a bummer, I typically like to do a little walking around and check things out.
The conference seems smaller this year than it was last year, I suppose that is to be expected. There are still a lot of events scheduled for the week, so it's hard to say but if I had to guess I'd say it's about 1/3 smaller than last year. It looks like they still have some good stuff planned though, some really good looking keynote speeches.
Oh and a lot less food and "extras" this year too! Which in my case is probably a good thing!
