I already have a Cornell Standard VPC in my AWS account. Can I opt-in to use the Shared VPC?
We encourage Cornell AWS customers to transition to using the Shared VPC if they are looking for the simplicity and cost-effectiveness of the Shared VPC. Such customers can opt-in to use the Shared VPC and vacate their Cornell Standard VPC, which would be decommissioned. Contact Cloud Support if you are in this position.
What happens if my usage "outgrows" the Shared VPC?
If you are using the Shared VPC and it no longer meets your needs (e.g., due to needing to deploy large clusters) contact Cloud Support to request consultation about deploying a Cornell Standard VPC, which provides more flexibility than using the Shared VPC.
