CUL-IT Desktop Services' Help Desk team provides direct IT support to the majority of the Library's endowed and statutory units.  Our Help Desk is available Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. If you have any questions or issues, please contact us through the via email at cul-dshelp-l@cornell.edu mailing list of call our central helpline at 607-255-8530

Peer IT support providers are also welcome to contact Desktop Services via cul-dshelp-l@cornell.edu.

Services Provided

Help Desk

The Desktop Services Help Desk provides front-line technical support for our supported staff.  If you need assistance, please email us at <cul-dshelp-l> or call our central support line at 255-8530.

Our goal is to provide quick responses to immediate desktop support needs. We are available from 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday.

Hardware Support

Library staff that are supported by Desktop Services are provided with a computer and LCD monitor.  Microsoft Windows is the standard OS configuration and applications include an array of standard software tools including the Microsoft Office Suite.  You will also have access to departmental shared printing services.
