1. Download the ThinLinc client for your operating system.
2. Download the Cisco AnyConnect client for your operating system.software for and Connect to the Cornell NetID or GuestID VPN
   1. GuestID users use the Cornell GuestID VPN service to connect to RS-CNF-VPN-Thin
   2. NetID users use the Cornell NetID VPN service to RS-CNF-VPN-Thin
3. In the installed ThinLinc client, set your preferred screen size:
   1. Click "Options"
   2. Click the "Screen" tab
   3. Choose your preferred screen size
   4. Make sure "Resize remote session to the local window" is checked
4. With the installed ThinLinc client, connect to
   Server: desktop-k.cnf.cornell.edu
   Username: netid_or_guestid
   Password: your netid or guestid password
5. To disconnect your session, press 'F8' and choose "Disconnect" - just as you would from a CNF Thinstation in the facility (sessions will also auto terminate in the same time frame as if accessing CNF Thin at the facility)
6. Disconnect the VPN.
