Blu-ray discs should be cataloged on a bibliographic record for a bluBlu-ray disc, not a conventional DVD record. However, they are shelved with conventional DVDs, so they will be given a number in the same "alphabet".  That is, choose "videodisc" for selecting the next accesion accession number for your bluBlu-ray disc in CLAMSS.
