Rana Glasgal has nearly 20 years of experience in higher education administration.
She is currently the Associate Vice Provost for Institutional Research and
Decision Support at Northeastern University, facilitating institutional decision
making by providing integrated analysis and research. Prior to holding this
position, Rana spent over 18 years at Stanford University, most recently as
Assistant Vice President for Workforce Analytics, designing and promoting
the use of analytics for decision making in academic human resources. Before
Stanford, she was a consultant with Decision Focus Incorporated. Rana just
concluded her term as an alumni-elected trustee on the Cornell Board of Trustees
and is a life member of the Cornell University Council. She is currently a
member of the Cornell Alumni Advisory Board, a member and former chair of
the CAAAN Advisory Committee, and a Cornell Class of ‘87 class officer. She
is a member of CAAAN and a former General Chair for the Northern California
region. She has served as a director of the Cornell Alumni Federation
and as a member of the Ways and Means Committee. Rana holds her B.S. and
M.Eng. from Cornell in Operations Research.
