James M. McCormick is a founder and president of First Manhattan
Consulting Group. In more than 25 years of consulting, he has built
expertise in disciplines ranging from strategy to acquisitions to marketing
to management information systems; he consults for banks, other
financial service firms, and technology companies. McCormick has given
testimony to the U.S. Senate Banking Committee and has appeared
more than 200 times as a speaker before various industry groups.
He has appeared on several television venues and has been quoted
in publications
including the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times,
Institutional Investor, The Economist, Forbes, and Fortune. He serves on
the board of directors of Teach for America and as a board member and
member of the executive committee for Mercy College.
