There are approximately 500 400 student employees in the Library whom we rely upon for office support, technological services, preservation and conservation work, circulation, for opening and closing the libraries, and for information assistance.

The Fuerst Award allows us to annually recognize our top student employees with the largest monetary award on campus. Bill Fuerst's endowment generously allows the Library to recognize student workers at a reception and award each student recipient with $500.

The nomination deadline for the 2014 Fuerst Outstanding Library Student Employee Award has passed. A reception honoring nominees the outstanding students nominated in 2104 was held on Friday, April 25, 201425th.
