2. metaliteracy - today learners communicate, create and share info using a range of emerging technologies.  Metaliteracy expands the scope of traditional info skills to include the collaborative production and sharing of info in participatory digital environments (forthcoming:  Mackey & Trudi Jacobson)

   •  behavioural - what students should be able to do upon successful compelteion of learning activities
   •  cogntive
   •  affective
   •  metacognitive - what students think about their own thinking/learning
