Cornell will be delivering a 2 1/2 day workshop on food safety as part of the 4H convention at Cornell (Travis - insert dates). This program will be taught by food safety graduate students at Cornell and is targeted towards juniors and seniors in high school. Materials will be posted here and can be requested from Travis Chapin at <tkc24@cornell.edu>.
Our food The North Carolina A&T food microbiology and safety laboratory will conduct two-one day workshop workshops (Salam - can you link this to announcements and/or provide dates and times for these workshops; we need to try to be as spoecific as we can here) on food safety /protection and defense as part of the fall semester research program for the agricultural research program at North Carolina A&T SU. This This program will be taught by the graduate students in the food and nutritional science and our audience will be high school. Salam will also help the graduate ; the audience for these workshops will be high school (Salam - clarify whether these are high school teachers or students). Salam Ibrahim at North Carolina A&T will also work with graduate students who work in the food safety to schedule trainings for high school sites/teachers. There training will be in Fall 2011 and Spring 2012training for high school teachers for fall 2011 and spring 2012 (can you clarify where these training sessions will be conducted? at teh schools or at A&T), Materials will be posted here and can be requested from Salam A.
