The Food Safety Wiki aims to provide comprehsenive information and resources about food safety with a focus on microbial food saftey issues.

In the first stage of the development of this Food safety Wiki, our focus is on developing content that is focuses on food safetey education and educational opportunities from K-12 trough undergraduate and graduate education through professional training opportunities.

The Food Safety Wiki Project is supported by a USDA NIFA funded grant entitled "A National Food Safety Education Program: building a multidisciplinary food safety training pipeline from K-12 to graduate school" (NIFA 2010-04502); the lead institution for this grant is Cornell University, collaborating institutions include Colorado State University, Purdue University, North Carolina State University, Alabama A&M University, North Carolina A & T State University, and Texas Wesleyan University.
