DHR International

Lisa Walker serves as managing partner of DHR International’s Global Industrial
Practice Group. Most recently, Walker served as the founder and managing director
of Leadership Capital Prior to joining DHR International, Lisa Walker founded and led Leadership Capital
Advisors, a boutique retained executive search firm , where she
built the revenue and infrastructure, and managed entrepreneurial growthwith global reach. Previously,
Walker she was a senior partner with Korn/Ferry International and a partner with Heidrick
Heidrick & Struggles. At Korn/Ferry, Walker initiated, built and led the global sustainability
practice and the global agribusiness practice. Prior to entering executive search, she Walker
was with BP Amoco, Air
BP, as chief marketing officer for the international jet fuel
business. She also served as director of marketing strategy for Amoco. Earlier in her
career,
Walker served as a management consultant with Bain & Company and A.T.
Kearney in strategy, marketing and operations.
She began her career as an engineer at Honeywell Corporation, working in design and
manufacturing with Honeywell’s
Honeywell Corporation’s solid state electronics division. Walker earned her Master of
MBA Business Administration in finance and economics from the University of Chicago, and her B.S.
her Bachelor of Science degree in chemical
engineering from Cornell University. Walker She
has been honored by the White House
as “a Champion of Change for her outstanding
leadership in entrepreneurial mentoring,
counseling , and training.” She serves on
the board boards of the Cornell University Engineering College Council, the University of
Chicago
Laboratory School, RTM Engineering, the advisory board of the Clean Energy Trust, Cornell Engineering
College Council and the women’s board University of Chicago Medicine
KovlerDiabetes Center, and the Women’s Board of the University of Chicago.
