Barcodes: , type and placement & call number format in book
Type: The barcode type to be used for all Fine Arts theses, are the "double-dumb" type. These are two barcodes that have the same number.
Placement of the barcodes are one on the outside of the book and one on the inside page of the cover. Placement of the barcode on both the outside cover and the inside page should approximately 1-1/2 inches from the top right of the book/page AND approximately 1-1/2 inches from the right side of the book/page. Cover the barcode on the outside of the book with a clear adhesive cellophane strip.

Staff and student employees that are processing the Fine Arts theses will also need to add the cataloged date, the date sent to Fine Arts, (which is typically two business days after processing and placed in Physical Processing department), and the barcode for of the corresponding title, to the Fine Arts tracking sheet.
