New Alert: This option will clear the entry fields and ready the system to receive a new
System Alert.
Delete Alert: This option will permanently remove the currently selected/displayed alert
from the system.
Purge Old Alerts: This option will remove System Alerts that are before the selected date.
(figure 2.2) To remove old alerts from the system click on the "Purge Old Alerts" menu
option. This will bring up a small sub menu. Select a day prior to which you wish
to have all the alerts removed, and click on "Purge." . All System Alerts that have become
inactive prior to the date you selected will now be permanently removed from the
system.
