The Student Library Advisory Council (SLAC) consists of undergraduate and graduate students from across the University with at least one representative from each of the schools and colleges (except for the Weill Medical College and Graduate School of Medical Sciences) and representatives named by the Student Assembly and the Graduate and Professional Student Assembly. The Council provides informs the University Librarian with firsthand information about student concerns and perspectives about the Cornell University Library and provides feedback about on library plans and initiatives. The Council meets three meets three times each semestereach semester.
