  1. Ensure that the Document Type field is set to Web Page Link.
  2. If the source for the electronic reading is through one of CUL's databases check the box next to Web Proxy?. If the electronic resource is from an open web site, for example http://www.mySite.comImage Removed, ensure that the Web Proxy? box is NOT selected as this may cause an issue for patrons trying to connect to the site.
  3. Create a stable link to the networked resource.
  4. Paste this link into the Shelf Reserves Location field under the General Information panel of the item's record.
  5. Click on the Change Status button on the main menu and select Item Available on Electronic Reserves.
