If a sponsored NetID gets created or reactivated (yearly, say), this is in and of itself insufficient to secure library resources for that Sponsored NetID.

- A NetID is required so the Library's system can know who you are, but any specific sponsored NetID needs to be authorized by the library to access licensed content from that NetID.
- To do this, the PI's group must coordinate their sponsored researcher's library needs with the Library access folks. PI's and/or end users should contact libpublicservices@cornell.edu with an explanation of the need and a length of time the need exists.Hopefully the Library is able to bulk-provide access if the PI provides them a list of all the sponsored NetIDs related to the group.
