Overview
We encourage the use of As of May 23, 2016, the Cornell IT Help Desk has processes in place to support AWS users requesting server certificates through the AWS Certificate Manager (ACM) . Public-facing documentation about this support is found at https://it.cornell.edu/aws-certificate.
This support also includes a process by which ACM emails for approval sent to noc@cornell.edu (a contact for the cornell.edu domain). Internal support desk documentation is found at https://hdinternal.cit.cornell.edu/ccwiki/AWS-Certificate_Manager.

As of , Cornell no longer supports email-based validation of certificates in the cornell.edu domain, or in other domains served by Cornell DNS database. Instead, DNS-based validation should be used for ACM certificates.
