Michael L. Goguen has been a Managing Partner at Sequoia Capital for over 17 years, where he focuses on infrastructure and technology investments. He is a Director of Cellworks, Click Security, Clickatell, Elevate, Infoblox (BLOX), OpenDNS, Quantenna, R2 Semiconductor, Tula Technologies, Versa Networks, and vIPtela. Michael led Sequoia’s investments in Ardent (CSCO), Avanex (AVNX), Cumulus Networks, LitePoint (TER), LogLogic (TIBX), MaxComm (CSCO), Monterey Networks (CSCO),Navini (CSCO), Netiverse (CSCO), NetScreen (JNPR), Pipelinks (CSCO), Redback Networks (RBAK), Spatial Wireless (ALU), Springbank (CacheFlow), ThinkFinance, Versatile (VTSS), Virident (WDC), VitalSigns (ALU), Yago Systems (Cabletron), and many others. Before joining Sequoia Capital in 1996, Michael spent 10 years in various engineering, research and product management roles at DEC, SynOptics and Centillion and was a director of Engineering at Bay Networks (Nortel). Michael also served as a Technical Chairman of the ATM Forum. Michael holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

Molly Tschang is Founder and CEO of Abella Consulting, a New York-based
leadership development and business advisory consultancy that helps senior
management build powerful chemistry to lead together, committed to each
other’s success. She created and hosts the “Say It Skillfully” video series on LinkedIn
and is a member of Marshall Goldsmith’s 100 Coaches initiative, selected
from among 12,000 applicants. Prior to Abella, Molly held executive leadership
positions at Cisco Systems and U.S. Filter, where she led the integration of over
80 acquisitions, and consulting and business development roles at Deloitte and
IBM. She gained deep expertise in helping executives navigate rapid change and
uncertainty in high growth environments. Molly holds a BS in chemical engineering
from Cornell University and an MBA from UCLA. She serves on the boards
of several privately-held companies and the Cornell Engineering College Council
and is a CornellTech guest lecturer on teams and leadership. An advocate of
social enterprise, Molly also served as the Executive Director for NetHope and
provides pro bono strategic advisory services to Community Solutions (homelessness)
and Three Dot Dash® (youth mentoring).
