Tony Satterthwaite is vice president of Cummins, Inc., and is the president
of Cummins’ distribution business segment. The segment is the primary
sales, service and support channel for the company and employs
approximately 16,000 people worldwidePresident and Chief Operating Officer of
Cummins, Inc. Since 1988, Satterthwaite has
held a number of
leadership roles at Cummins. He was most recently the President
of
Cummins Power Generation, led the Company’s Southeast Asia region,
and the Power Generation business in Asia-PacificDistribution segment, prior to that he was President of
the Cummins Power Generation segment. He was named managing
director of Power Generation’s operations in Ramsgate, England, in
in 1999 and promoted to vice president Vice President in 2001. Before joining Cummins,
Satterthwaite was a general field engineer for Schlumberger. He holds
a master’s degree in business administration an MBA from Stanford University
and an undergraduate degree in
civil engineering from Cornell University.
Externally, Satterthwaite is
a director of IDEX Corporation. He
has recently moved to lives in Indianapolis and is looking forward to getting
enjoys
playing soccer and being involved in the local community.
