Review our Charge – At a TSI Leads meeting on Tuesday, we discussed potential changes to the working groups charges, specifically related to being TS ”Initiatives” vs. TS “Integration”. Nothing specific was decided, other than to give the groups flexivibility flexibility to opffer offer changes to their charges if that would help them move forward with their work. Let’s look ours over and see if we think any change is needed.

RM slowness and recordings – We are awaiting word from Serials Solutions regarding RM slowness fixes at the end of October. Do we want to pursue anything else that might be highlighted in our recorded workflow sessions. On a related note, could these kinds of recordings be useful as part of procedural documentation?
- Jesse will check in with ProQuest/SS on November 3 if we have not otherwise heard back from them regarding their "end of October" fix.
- Other uses for video/WebEx - is there an application for troubleshooting? - Revisit troubleshooting in upcoming meetings.
CE status review – CE has not been as particularly fruitful thus far due to bugs and generally not meeting our expectations for functionality. Let’s discuss where we are with it and where to go from here. As a reminder, the four areas that are possible to share data via CE are:
- Databases -
- Contacts - not functioning as desired or designed. Outstanding ticket.
- Licenses - Possible time savings with licenses, but not enough to jsutify the cost for thisone function.
- Notes - ???
Pros of ditching CE:
Any suggestions?- Intota becomes an option
- Potential savings in time/effort can be found without CE
Cons:
To do/find out:
- Cost for Intota - ideally, zero sum
- Reach decision and alert PQ/SS by Thanksgiving - critique, send to powers that be, get approval, alert PQ.
