Several week hiatus from meetings
In the meantime:
- Serials solutions pricing/options for testing at Cornell and for consortial
- Jesse will add details
- Callisto - Offer to add view each other's accounts to Jesse and Joyce accounts. Jesse will confirm.
- Knowledge Base group - Charge working its way through sponsors
- Liisa/Adam group - Est. Summer for sending out survey for e-resource troubleshooting tracking
What do we need to work on next?
Phase 2 report? Several dependencies make it likely that this should wait until September or so. Propose a mid-phase update to Steering for July 15?
Vendor visits at ALA? Any particularly relevant to this group? ExLibris. Serials Solutions. Any tracking systems?
- Examine points of discord to determine which differences are crucial to operations and quality service at each institution and which can be better harmonized to improve efficiency, service, and/or eliminate redundancies;
- Plan ways to best utilize relevant staff at each institution for ongoing proactive maintenance work, regular just-in-time troubleshooting, as well as related special projects;
- Recommend and implement tools to enhance 2CUL e-resource troubleshooting activities. i.e. Incident ticketing/tracking, remote access testing;
- Callisto - in process
- Tracking - dependency on Adam/Liisa survey group?
- Remote access - Browserstack
- Make a specific recommendation on whether to implement the Consortial Version of Serials Solutions at both institutions or hold off on integrating e-resource management and data migration until we have a shared LMS;
- Alma timeline dependency? If Alma by 2015 then no? If Alma later (looking likely) then probably?
- Propose, develop, and test consolidated workflows in Voyager or other systems, as appropriate for shared problem solving.
- Joint troubleshooting timeline
- Any issues before starting to receive each others reports? Privacy? Keep it at the committee level first?
