  • What can we do to improve?

End of Project Questions

  • Were there obstacles or unanticipated circumstances that made it difficult to complete the project
  • Were roles and responsibilities clearly defined?
  • Did stakeholders have appropriate input into the project planning process?
  • Were stakeholders adequately involved in the project?
  • Were all issues resolved in a timely manner?
  • Were communications adequate in all activities? (right time, right audience, right information, right type)
  • Did we document appropriately and timely?
  • Were requirements documented clearly?
  • List top significant project successes? (keep to a manageable number)
  • Did PM practice add value to the project?
  • (Open-Ended) Based on what you know now, what should have been done differently in this project?
  • I knew where to go to get information on the project.
  • Was the project adequately staffed to complete the project?
  • Was the project planned well and at the right level?
  • Did we execute according to plan?
  • Was adequate testing performed (if applicable)?
  • Did the teams/sub-teams work effectively together?
  • Was cutover planned well?  Executed well?
