When you access the email from a device for the first time, Google will likely flag it and require an already logged-in user to authenticate you. This can be done remotely, but it's far easier to just have someone who's already logged in next to you, so plan in advance if you need access

Whenever possible, users should use the "Sign In With Google" option when creating accounts on websites, so that others can log in just by accessing the account. If a website does require a standalone account with a password, create a new (possible thematic winking face) password, and document it on this page for others to reference.
