Logging in from Windows or Mac
Windows
Note: The "new" Windows Remote Desktop Client will not work. You must download the separate Remote Desktop application from the Microsoft Store.
Download the "new" Remote Desktop client.
- Open the Remote Desktop client (orange icon).
- Click the "Add" button in the upper right.
- Select "PCs" from the drop list
- In the "Add a PC" window...
- For PC name, type in: rs-cnf-3gwin.cnf.cornell.edu
- For User account, type in: CORNELL\<netid_or_guestid> substituting your netid or guestid for <netid_or_guestid>
- For Display Name, type in a name that will help you remember what this connection is
- Click "Save"
- Your new connection will now display under "Saved PCs"... click the connection you created to connect
Macintosh
The Remote Desktop client for Macintosh is available in the app store.
- Open the Remote Desktop client (orange icon).

Apps for both iOS and Android are available in the various app stores. After installing use the above instructions to connect and login.
