Meeting notes:

Started the meeting with general introductions (and feelings about sports).

Marcie gave some (long winded) background on the evolution of the project and where we are now. Shared what she knows about the Mann and RMC exhibits at this point.

General discussion on possible themes and ideas for other exhibits.  Eric is interested in exhibiting mud cloth or African American quilts. This could lead to possible workshops around those traditional techniques as well as other workshops related to other exhibits. He mentioned that he might need to borrow items and the possibility of lending or borrowing exhibit items to one another and other institutions was mentioned. If this is a success, could it be hosted elsewhere? Others are interested in seeing what the rest of the group is doing before deciding on a theme.

We discussed that there would be one overarching Spotlight page for all of the exhibits and then each library could have their own site as well. RMC will build their own but will be linked to/from the others. We should have an overarching title for the series of exhibits and there should be a general theme/branding for that. We should reach out to CUL communications and invite them to our meetings since they will know relevant dates for publicity and outreach.

Questions about who we can go to within the group with questions lead to the creation of a page on the wiki where everyone can list their skills.

Decided that we would meet once per month until the end of this year. Marcie will schedule.

Everyone will create a "mood board" by the next meeting
