digital or virtual

Digital refers to actions performed with our digits (fingers), while virtual refers to interactions that happen between people in different places at the same time. Because virtual can also refer to virtual reality technology, use digital to refer to online content that does not employ virtual reality technology.

Virtual reality is an artificial environment that is created with software and presented to the user in a way that simulates a real environment.
