Tony Satterthwaite is vice president Vice President of Cummins, Inc., and is the president
President of Cummins Distribution Business segment. The segment
is the
pri¬mary primary sales, service, and support channel for the company
and employs
approximately 16,000 people worldwide. Since 1988,
Satterthwaite
has held a number of leadership roles at Cummins. He
was the president
President of Cummins Power Generation, led the Company’s
Southeast Asia region,
and the Power Generation business in Asia-
Pacific. He was named
man¬aging managing director of Power Generation’s
operations in Ramsgate,
England, in 1999 and promoted to vice president Vice
President in 2001. Before joining
Cummins, Satterthwaite was a general
field engineer for Schlumberger.
He holds a master’s degree in business administration an MBA from Stanford
University and an undergraduate degree in civil engineering from
Cornell
Uni¬versityUniversity. Externally, Satterthwaite is a director of IDEX
Corporation.
He has recently moved to Indianapolis and is looking forward to
getting He lives in Indianapolis and enjoys playing soccer and
being involved in the local community.
