- Find system's IP address. Use ChemIT inventory, CU AD, or go to the machine itself:

- How to find your computer's MAC address (and IP address)
- Go to DNS DB to change the IP address.
Click on "Host list" at our CIT network tools page.- Confirm Lookup the current IP address
- Determine new address (including subnet change, if any)
- Edit the subnet for the IP Address
- Note available address #. number (10.space, different regular, etc.).
- Find & Edit and edit the existing DNS Entryentry.
- Change the IP Address & address and save.
- Alternate - Delete Alternatively, delete old DNS entry.
- Note all DNS data entries - MAC address, CNames, notestnotes, etc.
- Delete existing DNS entry.
- Create new dns DNS entry with an available address on the desired subnet.
- Add all needed info from the original DNS entry.
- Select and Use links at:
