The value of the coordination is especially true as relates to Windows policy-based drive letter assignments. ChemIT employs Windows policies using the below drive letter conventions, and thus reinforcing these drive letters in users' minds. This can facilitate conversation among users, as well as with ChemIT support staff.
Drive letter | Use | Notes |

A-G | (reserved) | Reserve for Windows system devices. |
H, I, J, K, L | (avoid, for now) | Consider using higher letters first. |
| I | Physics Admin's John Miner | John's personal external hard drive, holding his personal files. Including iTunes ("i" for iTunes) |
