Dan Simpkins is an experienced entrepreneur who has spent his career buildingfounded and led two
successful technology companies. He is currently CEO of Hillcrest Labs,
a company startup companies: SALIX Technologies, a telecommunications
 pioneer; and Hillcrest Labs, a consumer electronics innovator. As CEO of
Hillcrest Labs, which he founded in 2001 to create , Dan has guided the company to
introduce groundbreaking user experiences for television, and to develop
in consumer electronics and which is now exceptional expertise in sensors processing. Hillcrest is currently the leading
global
supplier of software, hardware, and intellectual property for motionenabledmotion-enabled
products. Before founding Hillcrest, Simpkins founded Dan led SALIX Technologies ,
