The Division of Rare and Manuscripts opened a new exhibition "Animal Legends: From the Trojan Horse to Godzilla" http://rmc.library.cornell.edu/AnimalLegends/ which will remain on veiw through September 30. Preparations are underway for the fall opening of the exhibition "By the Dawn's Early Light: American Photography 1839-1889." This exhibition will celebrate the Division's acquisition of more than 17,000 19th century American photographs, which will come by gift from a collector over the next five years.This report will appear here soon
