- Use a proxy instead, such as Cornell's EZProxy, which may be the best option. Rick will explore this with Pete Hoyt and Amy Bluementhal. We do have to consider potential impact of the traffic on the proxy server, but Rick thinks this won't be a problem.
- Write XML to JSON conversion service, possibly based paritally on this PHP approach: http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/xml/library/x-xml2jsonphp/
We have test systems for both Atlas and Voyager, so we can fully evaluate both options.
