Mann Library is looking at e-reader devices, and we're interested in hearing about your experiences! We're specifically looking at who's using which e-readers and their thoughts. We're particularly interested in the following things:

How does it handle physically? How would you rate its ease of use (and what are the most important things to you in that regard)? How long does the battery last? Does your experience (with the battery) come close to the claims made by the manufacturer?
• What's your reading experience like? Have you experienced any eyestrain or other pet peeves?
• Have you tried to do research with it? Does your reader have any options for Ease of use (e.g. handling, battery life, etc)?
• Reading experience (eyestrain, font size, format)?
• Usefulness for research (annotation, bookmarking or highlighting features ? Have you used them? Are they easy to use and do they work welland their ease of use)?
How have you found the content selection (either in Content selection and loading (from the designated bookstore or through other means) adequate? How easy or difficult is it to get content on the device? We're especially interested to know if you've tried to load scholarly publications or Cornell owned or licensed content onto the device.
If you e-reader does more than allow you to read ebooks, what other features does it have? How do they work?
• Are there any links you like to share (to sources of content or information on ereaders and ebooks, reviews, research, pilot studies, etc), or any comments you have to share about your experience with your device?Other features besides ebooks?
• Any other information or comments

Right now we're specifically looking at the following e-readers and mobile devices (iPad, iTouch, Kindles, Nook, Sony readers) but feel free to leave comments about other readers and devices if you have them.
