Tags are used for grouping and sorting items for your course. For instance, if you have a group of readings that you would like your students to read for Section 1. By placing , you place a "Section 1" tag in on each of those readings so your students can filter their view of the readings to display only those readings.
   Tags are adding added in two levels. the The first, Instructor Tags, are tags that you assign to reserve items for use by students in the course. The second level are Personal Tags; these are function the same as Instructor tags in how they function but or Tags but are only visible to you. These tags could be used to note important readings , or items that may be included on a quiz or test.

  1.  On the Class Details page you will see a list of all the items that have been requested for your class. Click on the reserve item you wish to edit.
  2.  At the top of the Reserve Item screen the there is a display field that shows the current citation for the reserve item being edited.
  3. There are two fields under the citation labelled labeled Instructor Tags and Personal Tags. Tags can be placed in either or both of these fields and then saved by clicking on the corresponding Modify Tags button for that section. You can add as many tags as you wish to a reserves, reserve item; please remember though to separate each tag with a comma.
